Though originally purchased as a working farm, the grounds and original buildings have been updated to provide a safe, clean atmosphere for your child's week at camp.
In addition to the original buildings, new cabins, a chapel and a dining room were built to provide the necessary accommodations for campers. More recently we have added air-conditioning to several gathering places for a cool break from the summer heat.

Cabins: Housing for our summer camps is located in the cabins. There are eight buildings with two cabins each, totaling 16 cabins. Typically in each cabin there will be ten campers, one counselor and possibly a Jr. Counselor. Full bathrooms are located inside each cabin. There are two circles of eight cabins each. During our coed weeks, the girls stay in one circle of cabins, while the boys are separated in the other. |

Canteen/Game Room: The canteen is a favorite hangout at LGYC. Campers come with their friends and counselors to visit and hang out. Pizza, nachos, ice cream, popcorn, candy and soda are just some of the treats available. The canteen also sells LGYC t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, shorts, water bottles, and much more. Connected to the Canteen is our game room where ping-pong, foosball, and kingball are open to anyone who is feeling competitive. Our Pavilion is an open-air gym perfect for floor-hockey and other high-energy games. |

Woodlands Dining Room: All of the campers and staff eat in our air-conditioned dining room. At many camps, cabins sit together with meals served family style by our team of waitresses. Our food is excellent and is prepared by our skilled, wonderful cooks. |

Handcraft: Are you creative? Do you enjoy painting, wood work, beadwork and lanyards? Then handcraft is the place to spend your free time. All sorts of crafts are available and the handcraft staff is ready to teach campers just about anything! They can even complete a patch requirement by working on a craft during the week.
This busy building is open on most mornings and afternoons. |

Nature Center: If you like animals and science, you will love the Nature Center! Bunnies, ferrets, gerbils, guinea pigs and lots of reptiles are just some of the animals that campers can visit and hold during activity time this summer. There are also different Walks and Talks to teach kids about bats, stars, nature and survival skills. Campers and counselors can work toward their Observer patch and Quarter bars by attending certain sessions. |
Ceylon Court Gym: The big game is held in our large air-conditioned indoor gymnasium. The gym is used for volleyball, basketball, rainy day games, and, special events. We encourage every camper to conquer our 'state-of-the-art' 24-foot indoor climbing wall. |
Nurse's Station: If you aren't feeling well, need a band-aid or are just missing home, you can always find comfort at the nurse's station. We have a licensed nurse on duty 24 x 7 at every camp week to watch over all the activities. There are beds and a bathroom available if there's a need to get some rest or heal up before heading back out to all the activities of the day. |
Chapel: The whole camp joins together here each day for great singing and teaching. Chapel time becomes one of the most favorite and treasured times of a camper's week. Creative songs are learned here along with messages that are geared for the camper's age. It is inside these walls that many lives are changed for Christ. |
