Serving on the Lake Geneva Youth Camp College Staff is a life-changing experience. Each summer over 40 college students come to serve seeking fun and adventure. These same students leave with a hotter passion for God and memories that will last a lifetime.

The College Staff ensures the smooth operation of the camp by filling many of our important jobs and positions. These positions include:

• Assistant Cook
• Audio/Visual
• Canteen/Guest Services
• Dining Room Hostess
• Handcraft Coordinator
• Head Counselor (guy and girl)
• Head Dishwasher
• Housekeeping
• Kiddie Kamp
• Lifeguard*
• Nature Center
• Office Assistant
• Stronghold Adventure Staff*

*Must be certified

Beyond the job descriptions, the College Staff drives the camp's most critical mission: to see that each boy and girl has an opportunity to put their trust in Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior. LGYC needs young people who will accept the challenge to carry out this mission.

Qualifications:

• Must have a servant's heart dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ
• To serve on College Staff, we ask that you have completed one semester of college and are returning to college in the fall.
• Those who have participated in College Staff in prior years can return for one last year after graduation.
• Students need to be available for the entire ten weeks of summer. (If you are unable to serve the entire summer, please contact us to discuss other options.)

Financial Considerations:

Serving on College Crew is an act of faith. We offer a minimum base wage of $170.00 per week (plus free room and board) during ministry time here. In addition to the base wage you will have an opportunity to earn from $200.00 to $225.00 per week by raising additional funds through our Annual College Crew Fund Campaign. We will provide you with a "resource development toolkit_ that will assist you in your campaign.

New Promotions this year:

• Early sign-on bonus: Complete the application and ainterview process by April 1 and receive a $50 bonus.
• Bring a friend: Returning College Crew members who bring someone new to College Crew receive $50 per person.

Internships:

LGYC offers internship opportunities that may apply toward college credit. Interns focus their summer serving effort developing skills within a specific discipline. Often, interns work directly under an industry expert who acts as the intern's mentor throughout the summer. This is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skill useful in leadership settings throughout life.   Please contact the camp to learn more about available internship positions.
