Why Serve?

Serving at Lake Geneva Youth Camp or Conference Point Center is a great way to make friends and impact lives. There are so many ways to serve here: Seasonally, Summer Staff Positions, Summer Volunteers, Skilled Volunteers, and Ambassadors.

We have 5 behavioral values that we want to see in our staff and have them grow in which are humility, host, humor, hardworking, and wholeness.

Host: serving others well and making guests feel welcomed here at camp. (Matthew 20:25-28)

Wholeness: growing in every aspect of our lives — spiritually, emotionally, physically. (1 Thessalonians 5:12-24)

Humility: value others above yourselves. (Philippians 2:3-8)

Humor: a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs 17: 22)

Hardworking: diligent, tested by trial, correctly handles the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

By serving at camp, you have a unique opportunity to be a part of life-change, not only personally but in the lives of others… And we want you to leave better than you came, for your time here to be a transformative season of your life.
