Your Guide to Leading Well at Fall Blast
Welcome, Church Leaders! Whether you're a youth pastor, staff, or volunteer, this page is here to equip you with everything you need for a meaningful and smooth camp experience. From helpful checklists to spiritual preparation, our goal is to support you as you invest in your students and lead them closer to Jesus at camp. Let's get ready for a life-changing weekend!
Expectations & Training
Every Fall Blast Leader must:
- Pass a background check

Before Camp Resources
Here, you will find everything you need to feel prepared and confident before your group arrives at camp. From registration timelines, packing lists and check-in details, this page is designed to equip you with the information and tools that will make the transition smooth and stress-free. Our goal is to help you and your group feel ready - so when camp begins, you can focus on the excitement, growth, and life-changing experiences ahead.

The First Step: A Signed Contract
Contract
Registration for Fall Blast starts with submitting a signed Fall Blast Agreement. If you need a copy of the 2025 version of this document, please contact [email protected].
Portal
Once we have your Agreement and deposit on file, our Registration Team will contact you to set up your custom portal.

Payment Information
Online Payment
We recommend that you and the families in your ministry make payments online via the LGYC Portal in advance of your arrival at camp. Be sure to enter your Group Hold Registration ID, which can be found in the instructions sent to you by the Registration Team.

All payments will be due upon arrival.
Paid Activities
In addition to the variety of activities included with registration, we offer the following a la carte activity:
Team Paintball
- Cost: $15 (cash or card)
- Sign up at camp

For safety and legal compliance, please submit a Certificate of Insurance from your church to [email protected].

Make sure all students from your group are registered in our system.
All students and leaders need to complete the following forms:

The Week Before Camp
Connect with our Ministry Relationship Manager
As our Ministry Relationship Manager, Trevor Fox is dedicated to serving our Church Group Leaders. He will reach out a few days before camp to make sure you have everything you need and to partner with you in praying for an incredible week.
What to Bring
Please share this packing list with your students and their families. See the "Parent Guidebook" below for an easy-to-share PDF.
All items should be clearly marked with the family name.

- Personal Toiletries
- Sleeping Bag or Bed Sheets and Blanket
- Pillow and Pillowcase

- Play Clothes (Our Evening Game will involve washable face paint)

- Flashlight or Head Lamp (important for Saturday Night Game)

Regarding Electronic Devices
Leaders and volunteers may bring cell phones to camp, but please aim to go screen-free as much as possible. We encourage you to bring a physical Bible and alarm clock. We ask that you limit phone usage to communication with camp staff, emergencies, or other instances that may be described as appropriate, brief, and infrequent.
We strongly recommend that students do not bring any electronic devices to camp so they can better connect with those around them and with the Lord in an undistracted setting. The Chapel specifically is a phone free zone (even for Leaders and Staff).

Check-In
For Fall Blast, Check-in Begins at 6:30 pm
Enter at Gate 3 and park in the Gym Lot. Then, send one leader into the Gym Lobby to get checked in.
If there are any balances due, they will need to be paid at check-in.
Leader's Meeting at 7:45 pm
Throughout the weekend, you will have designated time to gather with other leaders and connect with our Program Team. The first is on Friday evening at 7:45 pm in the Lower Hayloft meeting room.
Not every leader has to attend, so feel free to alternate with other leaders in your group, if that is your preference.

Health & Safety
Health History & Medications
Every camper needs a CURRENT Health History and Medical Form on file, which may be completed online or filled out manually and turned in during check-in. Please share this form with your students and their families:

Visitation
For the safety of all campers, we ask that there are no visitors. This ensures your camper fully enjoys their distraction-free camp experience.

Media Guidelines for Churches
Bringing Your Own Equipment
You and your volunteers are welcome to bring your own cameras in order to capture the week of camp through photos and videos, as long as you abide by the following guidelines:
- Always give the LGYC Media Team the "right of way"
- Do not hinder the Program (e.g. stay off stages)
- Do not request special favors or unedited photos or videos from the LGYC Media Team
- No drones
- Do your best to only capture images of your students
Indemnification
By bringing your own media equipment, such as cameras, to camp, you and your team agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lake Geneva Ministries (LGM) from all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses related to the use, handling, transportation, or storage of equipment not owned by LGM, including personal injury, property damage, theft, or misuse.
Bringing Media Personnel
Should you be interested in bringing designated media personnel to camp who are not already registered to volunteer in another capacity, they will need to pay for their lodging and meals. Please make arrangements with our Reservation Specialist by calling the office at 262-248-5500.

Our Three-Part Theme
This Fall, we are launching our new theme "Above," with a distinct theme verse for each camp season:
Fall Blast – Philippians 2:3: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above
yourselves.”Arctic Blast – Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Parent Packet
The relationships you have with the parents and guardians of your students are vital, and we want to support you with resources that you can pass along to them. This packet gives parents helpful pre-camp information, including a packing list and more. Our recommendation is to pass it out both physically and via email.
After Camp Resources

We want the spiritual growth, friendships, and lessons your group experienced here to continue at home, so these resources are designed to encourage reflection, spark conversation, and inspire ongoing growth.

Don't worry about using your phone's camera. Our Media Team is here to capture the action. You can visit our Facebook Page and your weekend of camp will have its own photo album. Sharing these images on social media or internally at your church is a great way to remember the impact of camp and to get excited for next year.

Your students will experience a life-changing weekend of connection with one another and with the Lord, and our Media Team is here to capture it. All of our recap videos can be found on our Vimeo page. Sharing these videos in emails to parents, at youth gatherings, and on Sunday mornings is a great way to remember the impact of camp and to get excited for next year.
