    What to Bring

Please share this packing list with your students and their families. See the "Parent Guidebook" below for an easy-to-share PDF.

All items should be clearly marked with the family name.

    • Personal Toiletries
    • Sleeping Bag or Bed Sheets and Blanket
    • Pillow and Pillow Case
    • Towels and Wash Cloth
    • Play Clothes (Big Game might get messy)

    • Raincoat & Jacket
    • Bug Spray (strongly suggested)
    • Flashlight or Head Lamp
    • Laundry Bag
    • Refillable Water Bottle

    Regarding Electronic Devices

Leaders and volunteers may bring cell phones to camp, but please aim to go screen-free as much as possible. We encourage you to bring a physical Bible and alarm clock. We ask that you limit phone usage to communication with camp staff, emergencies, or other instances that may be described as appropriate, brief, and infrequent.

We strongly recommend that students do not bring any electronic devices to camp so they can better connect with those around them and with the Lord in an undistracted setting. The Chapel specifically is a phone free zone.

  • Check-In
For Fall Blast, Check-in Begins at 6:30 pm

Enter at Gate 3 and park in the Gym Lot. Then, send one leader into the Gym Lobby to get checked in.

If there are any balances due, they will need to be paid at check-in.

    Leader's Meeting at 7:45 pm

Throughout the weekend, you will have designated time to gather with other leaders and connect with our Program Team. The first is on Friday evening at 7:45 pm in the Lower Hayloft meeting room.

Not every leader has to attend, so feel free to alternate with other leaders in your group, if that is your preference.

Important Guidelines

  • Health & Safety
    Health History & Medications

Every camper needs a CURRENT Health History and Medical Form on file, which may be completed online or filled out manually and turned in during check-in. Please share this form with your students and their families:

    https://www.lgyc.org/sites/default/files/2020-03/Health%20Form.pdf

    Visitation

For the safety of all campers, we ask that there are no visitors. This ensures your camper fully enjoys their distraction-free camp experience.

  • What NOT to Bring
Campers and leaders should NOT bring:
    • Tobacco
    • Alcoholic beverages
    • Drugs
    • Any form of weaponry
    • Electronic Games

Media

  • Photos from Camp

Don't worry about using your phone's camera. Our Media Team is here to capture the action. You can visit our Facebook Page and your weekend of camp will have its own photo album. Sharing these images on social media or internally at your church is a great way to remember the impact of camp and to get excited for next year.

  • Recap Videos

Your students will experience a life-changing weekend of connection with one another and with the Lord, and our Media Team is here to capture it. All of our recap videos can be found on our Vimeo page. Sharing these videos in emails to parents, at youth gatherings, and on Sunday mornings is a great way to remember the impact of camp and to get excited for next year.

  • Media Guidelines for Churches
    Bringing Your Own Equipment

You and your volunteers are welcome to bring your own cameras in order to capture the week of camp through photos and videos, as long as you abide by the following guidelines:

    • Always give the LGYC Media Team the "right of way"
    • Do not hinder the Program (e.g. stay off stages)
    • Do not request special favors or unedited photos or videos from the LGYC Media Team
    • No drones
    • Do your best to only capture images of your students

    Indemnification

By bringing your own media equipment, such as cameras, to camp, you and your team agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lake Geneva Ministries (LGM) from all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses related to the use, handling, transportation, or storage of equipment not owned by LGM, including personal injury, property damage, theft, or misuse.

    Bringing Media Personnel

Should you be interested in bringing designated media personnel to camp who are not already registered to volunteer in another capacity, they will need to pay for their lodging and meals. Please make arrangements with our Reservation Specialist by calling the office at 262-248-5500.

  • Audio Recordings of Chapel Messages

Our chapel sessions are recorded and saved as podcast episodes. This is a great resource to share with parents/families after camp. Visit our "Chapel Messages" Spotify page for details:

2025 Theme & Promotional Materials

  • "Above"
    Our Three-Part Theme

This Fall, we are launching our new theme "Above," with a distinct theme verse for each camp season:

Fall Blast – Philippians 2:3: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above
    yourselves.”

Arctic Blast – Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Summer – Colossians 3:2: “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”

  • Last Year's Recap Video

A great way to get students pumped for camp is by giving them a glimpse of the experience. We encourage you to download last year's recap video and play it on a Sunday morning or at a youth gathering.

  • Parent Packet

The relationships you have with the parents and guardians of your students are vital, and we want to support you with resources that you can pass along to them. This packet gives parents helpful pre-camp information, including a packing list and more. Our recommendation is to pass it out both physically and via email.
