Please ensure all campers and their families have completed the medication forms in the LGYC Portal. All medication needs to be in its original container inside a Ziploc bag with each student’s name written in permanent marker on the outside of the bag. Campers arriving with their families will turn medications into our Camp Nurse at check-in. If your group is arriving together (without parents), please make sure you have collected all medications before loading into vehicles to ensure a seamless process upon arrival at camp.

Review the Group Leader Tips & Tricks Video

Our Team is producing a Tips & Tricks Video for Group Leaders. Please be sure to watch this video before your arrival.

  • Check-In
For Summer Camp, Check-in Begins at 1:30 pm

Important Guidelines

  • Health & Safety
    Health History & Medications

Every camper needs a CURRENT Health History and Medical Form on file, which may be completed online or filled out manually and turned in to the Camp Nurse during check-in. Please share this form with your students and their families:

    https://www.lgyc.org/sites/default/files/2020-03/Health%20Form.pdf

All medication must be turned in to the Camp Nurse during check-in.

    Swim Test

Each camper will take a swim test. Wristbands are given to show the camper’s swimming level. Some activities require a higher level of swimming ability.

    Visitation

For the safety of all campers, we ask that there are no visitors until the end of your camper’s week. This ensures your camper fully enjoys their distraction-free camp experience.

Media

  • Photos from Camp

Don't worry about using your phone's camera. Our Media Team is here to capture the action. You can visit our Facebook Page and your week of camp will have its own photo album. Sharing these images on social media or internally at your church is a great way to remember the impact of camp and to get excited for next year.

  • Recap Videos

Your students will experience a life-changing week of intense fun and growth in Christ, and our Media Team is here to capture it. All of our recap videos can be found on our Vimeo page. Sharing these videos in emails to parents, at youth gatherings, and on Sunday mornings is a great way to remember the impact of camp and to get excited for next year.

  • Media Guidelines for Churches
    Bringing Your Own Equipment

You and your volunteers are welcome to bring your own cameras in order to capture the week of camp through photos and videos, as long as you abide by the following guidelines:

    • Always give the LGYC Media Team the "right of way"
    • Do not hinder the Program (e.g. stay off stages)
    • Do not request special favors or unedited photos or videos from the LGYC Media Team
    • No drones
    • Do your best to only capture images of your students

    Indemnification

By bringing your own media equipment, such as cameras, to camp, you and your team agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lake Geneva Ministries (LGM) from all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses related to the use, handling, transportation, or storage of equipment not owned by LGM, including personal injury, property damage, theft, or misuse.

    Bringing Media Personnel

Should you be interested in bringing designated media personnel to camp who are not already registered to volunteer in another capacity, they will need to pay for their lodging and meals. Please make arrangements with our Reservation Specialist by calling the office at 262-248-5500.

  • Audio Recordings of Chapel Messages

Our chapel sessions are recorded and saved as podcast episodes. This is a great resource to share with parents/families after camp. Visit our "Chapel Messages" Spotify page for details:

2025 Theme

  • "The Great Race"

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,” Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

The message is clear, THROW OFF the things that are hindering you and the sin that so easily ENTANGLES you. And instead, RUN! Run with perseverance the race that was marked out for you. The author of Hebrews finishes the thought they started in verse one with the focus of our race, “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” The Gospel message is clear, Jesus is our goal, and sin is holding us back.

We love the idea of racing, and the opportunity it presents for games and competitions. We believe a car racing theme will be a great vehicle to communicate the verse.

The beginning of the verse creates a question that will have to be answered, “Who is in this great cloud of witnesses surrounding us?” Old Testament heroes whose stories of faith help reveal the character of God. Campers will be forced to reckon with questions like, “What in my life is hindering me from running the race?” “What sin entangles me?” “What does it mean that a race has been marked out for me?”

Ultimately, campers should leave a program having wrestled with these questions and having been presented with the reality that the only race worth driving, is the one that Christ has set before us.

This summer, campers will be invited to join in the race marked out for them. They will see running the race modeled for them so that they continue the race when they come home. We are so excited for what God has in store for the summer as campers join in The Great Race!
