Serving at camp will give you an opportunity to take part in life-changing experiences and make space for campers and guests to encounter God. Our vision is to create a can’t miss experience for everyone that comes on our property to meet God in a new way, and leave more equipped.

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for a paid position. Please take the next 15-20 minutes to complete the application.

Find Purpose, Leadership, and Fulfillment all while getting paid! Positions are available for people 18 years or older. Our mandatory training begins May 30 (Memorial Day Monday). Our main summer timing goes until July 31. Priority will be given to applicants with full summer availability, however, we would consider special circumstances and timing. Be the main leader for our Jr. high & Sr. high school summer program camps. Plan and execute from start to finish of each camp. Work on a team of 3 other Program Leads. Provide a fantastic camp experience for both teens and staff.

The role of the Chapel Production Assistant is to set up and run audio and video for program needs. Your responsibility is to assist the Chapel Supervisor with running the chapel program for campers and guests.

The Day Camp Program Manager’s responsibility is to manage the day camp program. You will be required to develop the program and implement day camp staff leadership, administrative responsibilities, and spiritual leadership. You must have a growing, strong relationship with the Lord and a desire to love God and others.

The role of the Music Leader is to work with the Chapel Supervisor in executing music for program camp chapel sessions. Your responsibility is to team with other musicians and the Chapel Supervisor as lead worshippers to offer campers, leaders and volunteers the ability to worship and adore Jesus Christ. 

Day Camp Leader

The Day Camp Leader’s responsibility is to assist in the successful implementation of the day camp program: chapel, recreation activities, waterfront, meals, group games/activities, closing ceremony, registration, photo and video, nature, handcraft, and snack shop. Day Camp staff work ~70% with Day Camp. Typically, Day Camp Staff serve as counselors for overnight camp certain weeks and do not counsel just in Day Camp. Also, Day Camp Staff assist with the camp program in the evenings when day campers are not present.

The role of the Teen Serve Supervisors are to lead the teen serve program at LGYC. The Teen Serve Supervisors are responsible for all teens while they are on property for each Teen Serve Session.

The role of the Recreation staff is to lead the various on-site adventure activities of Lake Geneva Youth Camp and Conference Center.

Lifeguard

The role of a Lifeguard is to provide a safe and neat waterfront for campers and guests. You will be responsible to ensure a safe environment by being diligent and alert while guarding on the water, performing rescues when necessary, keeping equipment operational, and creating a pleasant environment at the waterfront. This includes, but is not limited to: cleaning and maintenance of waterfront, swim tests, waterfront supervision, supervising boat use, providing first aid, and garbage runs. Additional training for this position is required.

The role of the Boat Driver is to drive the boat for water sport activities, clean and up-keep boats, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

The role of an individual working on the Maintenance team is to assist the maintenance staff in repairs, upkeep, construction, and special projects as needed to all facilities and grounds. Hours are varied and time off will be left to the discretion of the Maintenance Supervisor.

The role of the Housekeeping Assistant is to work alongside the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties for our campers and guests.

Food Service

The role of the Food Service Assistant is to help prepare and cook food for camper and conference meals. You will work alongside the program team in fulfilling food service requests, and set up and serve guests their meal. The Food Service Assistant works with the Food Service Director in overall operation of the kitchen. Some work will require non-standard hours.

The role of the individual working in the Canteen/Retail Store is given responsibility over the operation, inventory, and cleanliness of the camp and conference canteens (retail) and soda pop machines.

Nature Educator

The role of the Nature Educator is to teach campers to observe and appreciate God’s infinitely creative and fascinating handiwork in nature. Working in this position should help you in developing your own appreciation, knowledge, and awareness of God’s creation.

Arts and Crafts Specialist

The role of the Arts and Crafts Specialist is to leverage arts and crafts to point campers, leaders and volunteers to Jesus. Also to provide instruction on projects, cleaning the craft room, sell craft projects, and pack up completed projects for campers to take home with them.

Videographer

The role of the Videographer is to plan and create all camp videos. It is your responsibility to shoot, edit, and finalize these videos in order to play in chapel, post online, and distribute to campers and families.
